YAMAHA® Seascooters are the reference point for underwater vehicles that can be used to have fun snorkelling on the surface of the water or to dive, professionally or recreationally, to explore seabeds, rivers or lakes. YAMAHA® has accustomed us, over the years of permanence on the market, to its Seascooters with an unmistakable design inspired by torpedoes, hydrodynamic and tapered.

2019 sees the debut on the international market of the new model, the YAMAHA® SEA WING Seascooter , with an innovative concept that deviates from the standard design in favor of a more modern shape, vaguely reminiscent of the double thrusters of a glorious F-14 Tomcat .

The double propellers, placed at the two ends of the vehicle, are driven by a powerful Brushless electric motor which allows them to reach a thrust value of 12 kg , powered by the high-performance Lithium Ion battery, already used for the YAMAHA® Seascooters of the Professional Dive Series, 22.2V / 6.3Ah , which guarantees the vehicle an autonomy of 45' with just one hour of recharging.

The depth that can be reached by the new YAMAHA SEA WING is 40 meters and it can reach a maximum speed of 6.5km/h . There are two different rotation speeds of the propellers and, in this regard, there is a special LED in the central part of the Seascooter body which indicates whether you are traveling in low or high gear by changing colour. There is also the practical battery charge indicator, also with LEDs, to always have the remaining autonomy under control.

To comply with European regulations in the field of underwater vehicles, YAMAHA®SEA WING operates only when the activation triggers are pressed at the same time, in fact, when even only one of the two is released, the engine that pushes the propellers stops.

Also for YAMAHA®SEA WING a special support for Action Cam with GoPRO®HERO type attachment is supplied to secure your video camera directly to the body of the Seascooter. The real innovation of this new 2019 model, however, is being able to carry the YAMAHA® SEA WING Seascooter on the plane as hand luggage. The very low weight of only 3.7Kg makes it really easy to transport and also the maneuverability in the water is positively affected, making it one of the most manageable YAMAHA® Seascooters ever.

Also for YAMAHA® SEA WING safety reaches levels of excellence. The main switch prevents the Seascooter from being operated when it is not required, both propellers are contained in a protective anti-contact grid and, when the battery reaches a minimum charge value, a special signal warns the user to allow him to return to the surface .

Available in the special Black-Yellow colour, SEA WING is proposed as the most versatile model of the entire YAMAHA® Seascooter range, capable of giving great emotions in all conditions of use.
