Raymarine's new Ray260 VHF radio boasts a modular design suitable for boats large and small.
It includes a 25-watt VHF radio with Class D digital selective calling (DSC), remote speaker, and a full-featured handset.

Cornet
The rugged and ergonomic Ray260 handset features an extra-large LCD and dedicated softkeys for easy control of all functions.

Powerful speaker
The powerful external speaker, with adjustable volume, ensures clear and clean audio. The Ray260 VHF supports two additional handsets/speakers giving you control of three stations.
The design of the Ray260 matches perfectly with Raymarine's latest generation multifunction displays and instruments.
The Ray260 has a powerful 25-watt/1-watt transceiver with Class D Digital Selective Calling (DSC). It also offers NOAA weather channels and weather alerts, as well as dual-watch, tri-watch and channel scan functions.

AIS extension
The Ray260AIS version offers all the functions of the Ray260 plus an internal two-channel AIS (Automatic Identification System) receiver. When connected to a multifunction display, radar, chartplotter, or ship's instrument, AIS allows you to view the name and location of other nearby AIS users directly on your chart and radar screen.

Digital voicemail and message recording
With the new Digital Voicemail feature, a 15-second voice message can be pre-recorded and automatically sent to another DSC-equipped vessel. It can also be used to record incoming and 90 second alert messages.

Location tracking
The position tracking function allows the receipt of 5 reports from nearby DSC equipped vessels. The information received can be overlaid onto the chart screen of a Raymarine MFD, allowing you to easily track a vessel of interest or group of vessels; in addition, commercial users will be able to keep track of their local fleets.

For European inland waterways, the Ray260 includes the ATIS function.

Megaphone
Thanks to the Ray260's internal megaphone, you can be heard loud and clear on deck and in port. The megaphone has an output power of 30 watts and a two-way talkback function so you can communicate with the crew even in very noisy situations. The megaphone includes an automatic foghorn with integrated signaling for both sailboats and motorboats.

The Ray260 integrates easily with other NMEA2000 (via Raymarine SeaTalkng cabling system) or NMEA0183 on-board electronic systems.
