  • The GM600 is a Class A GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety) VHF radio. It can be used as part of a system of GMDSS-enabled equipment that complies with SOLAS regulations. The GM600 radio is designed to perform perfectly even in the most adverse weather conditions because it fully complies with all the requirements of the Marine Equipment Directives (MED).

    The front panel is waterproof according to IPX7 standard (30 min at 1m depth). In addition, the back side is protected against rust by a corrosion-resistant coating.

    Class A DSC compliant with ITU-R M.493-13 standard

    The DSC controller constantly monitors activity on channel 70 (DSC channel), ensuring access to emergency and safety communications at all times. The special operating mode facilitates DSC operation by opening a pop-up window on the display as soon as a DSC call is received. To send an acknowledgment of receipt to the sending station, simply press the accept button.

    4.3 inch color TFT display

    The large 4.3 ”display amazes with its viewing angle, which reaches almost 180 °. The high resolution screen ensures that you can easily see all information on the display even in adverse weather conditions.

    Always loud and clear reception

    The waterproof loudspeaker ensures optimal intelligibility of every incoming call. In addition, the 10 W audio amplifier is designed for connection to an external speaker.

    Intuitive operation and unified design user interface

    The GM600 (VHF) and GM800 (MF / HF) have a unified design and offer consistent operation. Thanks to the combination of hotkeys and navigation buttons, using the GM600 VHF radio is particularly quick and easy. The hotkeys, located at the bottom of the display, provide easy access to the most important functions. Finally, the CH16 key allows direct access to channel 16. The large ten-key keypad allows you to easily enter channel numbers, MMSI numbers with ID names and so on.

Goods receipt

Check that the packaging is intact and not altered even in the closing tapes.
