It is a quick-drying single-component enamel with a bright appearance, resistant to the operating temperatures of marine engines, to oils, naphtha, fuels and sea water

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION CYCLE
New iron surfaces. Thoroughly degrease the surface and apply a coat of EPOFOND AM-9 by spray or brush. Leave to dry for 12-24 hours and apply a coat of SOLVER PRIMER by spray or brush. Wait 12-24 hours and overpaint with 1-2 coats of SMALTO MOTORI MARINI in the desired colour.
Already painted surfaces : Remove the loose parts by brushing, stripping and sanding. Degrease and sand the remaining underlying paint. Apply 1-2 coats of SOLVER PRIMER over the entire surface (both on the ironed parts and on the old paint). After 12-24 hours, apply 1-2 coats of SMALTO MOTORI MARINI in the desired colour.
If it is only necessary to restore the finish paint because it is dirty or opaque, which is well anchored to the support and free of cracks, overpaint directly after sanding with 1-2 coats of SMALTO MOTORI MARINI in the desired colour.
