The gWind transducer is designed to provide more accurate TWS and TWA data; it can be purchased in 2 different bundles or as a standalone device.
The first package includes the gWind transducer, the GMI™ 20 color display , the module GND 10 and the DST800 transducer . The second also includes the GNX™ 20 display .

The gWind transducer, thanks to the frontal detection of the wind, provides more precise data in light wind conditions, while the double direction stabilizer offers more reliable data. This type of transducer, unlike the cup ones, guarantees greater efficiency. Combined with the optical readout, this transducer offers superior accuracy at low wind speeds. The wireless system offers an easy to install solution and eliminates the need for cables in the tree.

Garmin users can finally enjoy the benefits of Nexus equipment for sailing and vice versa. The bundle includes the transducer with a three-blade propeller for more accurate True Wind Speed ​​(TWS) data in light wind conditions and a dual heading stabilizer design for more reliable TWA (True Wind Angle) data. Easy plug-and-play installation between Nexus, Garmin chartplotters, NMEA 2000 and USB.
